NUT MORDANT (Humitan)
HUMITAN is a solid form of sodium salt of humic acids, produced from Czech natural oxyhumolite with high content of organic substances. It is mainly used in the paper industry for dyeing paper and cardboard, as well as in drilling rinses and tamponage cement mixtures. The product is biologically active, highly soluble in water and completely harmless to humans and the environment.

Detailed description
NUT MORDANT (Humitan) is the solid form of the sodium salt of humic acids. The product contains humic acids and their complexes, produced by processing Czech natural oxyhumolite with a high content of organic substances.
These are mixtures of sodium salts of humic acids and fulvic acids, which are characterized by excellent water solubility and extraordinary biological efficiency.
Usage:
- Dyeing paper - especially packaging and cartoning. Can be applied as a dye-in-mass or as a dye-in-coat.
The coloured paper has high lightfastness and the complexing effect of humic acids, which improves density, closure, strength, bending and puncture resistance.
It improves germination and shortens the shelf life of the final products. In the finished product, the dye also acts as a moisture regulator.
The amount of sodium salts added to the mass during dyeing depends on the desired shade and ranges from 2-8 hm.% (relative to the weight of air-dried paper pulp).
When dyeing in a layer, the consumption is approximately 0.25 hm.%. - Drill cuttings - used in the liquefaction of clay viscous rinses or in the activation of probes from clay rinses in concentrations up to 1 % mass.
For tamponage cement mixtures, the dosage is given as solidification retarder to 1 % mass up to temperature 80 °C.
Properties and composition:
The solid (scales) contains at least 66 % of humic acids.
In aqueous solution it exhibits an alkaline reaction pH 10.0-11.4.
The preparation is toxicologically benign, does not harm the environment, does not endanger animals or beneficial insects (e.g. bees).
Due to the alkaline reaction, personal eye and skin protection equipment should be used.
Standard packaging
The product is supplied in bulk polypropylene bags (Big Bag) with a net weight of 1 000 kg (500 lbs). The bag is placed on a one-way, heat-treated wooden pallet and provided with a paper backing.
Alternative packaging on customer's request
Paper bags with PET liner weighing 25 kg net can be supplied on request. The bags are packed in 30 pieces (total 750 kg) on a one-way wooden pallet, fixed with shrink film and provided with a paper backing.
Ecological obligation
The customer is obliged to ensure that the used packaging material is recycled.
